Hoofed Animals

In chapters 35-39 in The Burgess Animal Book for Children, we learn about many North American hoofed animals, including species of deer, caribou and sheep. Below you’ll find each of the animals Burgess mentions in the book. Click on the picture to find out more about each animal.  Thornton Burgess refers to some of these animals by name, which I put in parenthesis.
